Merry Christmas America!

‘People are proud to be saying Merry Christmas again’

President Trump

When he ran for the White House in 2016, Donald Trump promised to make America great again.

Late Sunday night, on what appeared to be a busy Christmas Eve at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, the president took a bow for what he views as his successful role in making Christmas merry again.

“People are proud to be saying Merry Christmas again,” the president tweeted shortly before 10 p.m. EST. “I am proud to have led the charge against the assault of our cherished and beautiful phrase. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!”

On Christmas Eve, Donald Trump Challenges ‘Fake News’ for Negative Reporting on ‘Incredible Year’

President Donald Trump continued to criticize fake news, even on Christmas Eve.
He appeared frustrated by reports that showed his base was shrinking, accusing them of running fake polls to set their narrative.

“The Fake News refuses to talk about how Big and how Strong our BASE is,” he wrote. “They show Fake Polls just like they report Fake News.”

Trump indicated that White House polling showed that his base was still strong, especially after passing significant tax reform.

The Two Americas: One America Grows and Profits, the Other Shrinks and Dies

A headline in the Wall Street Journal last month put the matter plainly: There are “Two Americas.” One America that gains from globalization, and another, much larger, America that loses from globalization. And as we now know, this cleaving of the nation is not just a matter of economics, it’s also a matter of life and death.

Good riddance to net neutrality

Now that Net Neutrality has been repealed, the companies that build and maintain the infrastructure will be able to charge more to companies that demand more. What a horrible concept, basing prices on supply and demand!

It was inspiring that the net neutrality supporters were trying so hard to protect streaming companies like Netflix and Google from paying more for their increasing use and increasing demand that generates the need for more infrastructure and maintenance. Netflix only has a market value of $81 Billion and Google $730 Billion, so thank goodness consumer advocates are working so hard to protect them from paying more for their increasing share of the bandwidth.
